TO FACILITATE EASY DELIVERY
(1) Give CAULOPHYLLIM 30 or 200, One a day in the last month of pregnancy and twice a day in the week before the expected day of delivery.
(2) Give PULSATILLA 10M (Keep about 4 doses in the purse for READY availability); the first dose to be taken on entering the LABOUR room, and thereafter repeat the dose every 3 or 4 hours till delivery. This formula has proved successful in a large number of cases – but for unexpected complications calling for Obstetricians’s intervention.
HAEMORRHAGE AFTER CHILD BIRTH (Post Partum Haemorrhage)
Arnica – A few doses of Arnica 30 or 200 administered after delivery are powerful enough to prevent such haemorrhage, esp. when the whole body feels sore.
Belladonna – Blood feels hot as it passes through vagina. Violent bearing down towards genitals as if everything would fall out.
Ipecacuanha – Uterine haemorrhage, steady flow or gushing, profuse, bright, with nausea and gasping with each gush of blood. Stitches from navel to uterus. Constant nausea; laboured breathing.
Sabina – Gushing of hot bright blood mixed with dark clots; worse from least motion; with pain from sacrum to pubes or reverse. Retained placenta; severe after-pains.
Millofolium – Bleeding profuse and painless. Blood bright red and fluid. After a hard labour, oozing of blood with bruised soreness.a
