ARGENTUM N1TRICUM
Physical Generals : Great longing for fresh air. Sensation of splinter when swallowing (in throat), or in the uterus when walking. Chilly when uncovered, yet feels smothered if wrapped up; craves fresh air. Craving for sugar. Walks and stands unsteadily, especially when he thinks himself unobserved.
MIND : Anticipatory anxiety before an important engagement, e.g., examination. Nervous diarrhoea, Delusion, he is despised, deserted and forsaken or is neglected; that he cannot succeed, he does everything wrong. Undertakes nothing lest he fails. Cravings: Desires SWEETS (Sugar) and SALT.
CHILD : Ophthalmia neonatorum. Diarrhoea, with green mucus, stool turns green after remaining on diaper. Wants to do things in a hurry; must walk fast. Chronic laryngitis of singers. X and speakers.
Violent purulent OPHTHALMIA with thick, yellow bland discharge; PROFUSENESS of the discharge is characteristic. PALPITATION worse from lying on the right side; pressure with the hand ameliorates.
ARNICA
Bad effects from mechanical injuries (Falls, bruises, contusions). Mechanical injuries, especially with stupour with concussion; involuntary faeces and urine. Traumatic affections of muscles. Compound fractures and their profuse suppuration.
Sore, bruised, lame feeling all through the body as if beaten. Pain as if sprained in outer parts and the joints.
Everything on which he lies seems too hard; complains constantly of it and keeps moving from place to place in search of a softer spot. Conjunctival or retinal haemorrhage, with extra vacation from injuries or cough.
Unconsciousness when spoken to answers correctly, but unconsciousness and delirium at once return. SAYS HE IS
WELL when very sick. Fears being struck, or approached. Abortion from mechanical injuries.
Typhoid fever, with the greatest indifference; putrid breath, and red spots like suggilations on the body.
Whooping cough. Before a paroxysm the child loses its breath when it cries because, the lungs and trachea are sore.
Tendency to small, bails; echhymosis on various parts of body.
