Arsenicum – Tongue red, dry; offensive putrid odour of mouth. Warm drinks ameliorate.
Borax – In children. Tongue sensitive and bleeding. Dry tongue, hot, tender, aphthous. Pains while chewing, or nursing.
Mercurius – Children with marked salivation in sleep. Tongue red with putrid odour of mouth. Moist tongue with great thirst. Tongue broad, flabby, indented.
Sulphur – Drinks much, eats little. Desires sweets. Hungry at 11 a.m.
