Belladonna – Worse ascending stairs, binding hail Hammering headache from coughing, from any jar, from light (photophobia). Lying in R dark room (without light or noise) ameliorate worse during menses; from exertion of vision
Bryonia- Violent headache when constipated; on coughing; from any motion or jar; exertion of eyes. Pressure ameliorates.
Calcarea phos. – Headache of school children with diarrhoea; delayed closure of fontanelles.
Cocculus – Worse riding in a carriage. Cannot lie on back during headache. Headache from loss of sleep
Gelsemium – Maddening pains. Profuse urination ameliorates.
Glonoinum – Waves of terrible bursting headache Worse from heat of sun (Sun-stroke); as if skull were too small for the brain. Headache in place <>l menses.
Natrum mur. – Hammering over the eyes from sunrise to sunset. After emotional excitement; straining the eyes. Better from pressure and after sleep
Nux vomica – Headache worse in cold damp weather and emotional excitement and mental exertion
Pulsatilla – Pulsating semi-lateral headache with scalding. lachrymation of the affected side. Better open air, pressure.
Sepia – Terrible shocks at menstrual time with scanty menses. Worse riding in a carriage. Meals ameliorate.
Silicea – Violent headache worse draft of air. Better binding the hair, lying in dark and profuse urination.
Psorinum – Always hungry during headache. Better while eating. Great sensitiveness to cold air.
Spigelia – Headache from sunrise to sunset – Headache at sunrise, at its height at noon declines till sunset. Pain pulsating, violent, stabbing, spreading over the whole head and locating in the eye on the left side (right side : Sang., Sil)
