TETANUS
Ledum & Hypericum – Wounds punctured from needle pricks, or Hypericum splinters that bleed SCANTILY and are followed by pain and puffiness and coldness. Parts become paralysed and mottled. Whitlow from a punctured wound. TETANUS, traumatic parts become COLD as ice; spasms begin from the punctured wound (rusty nails) Give LEDUM AT ONCE, 1M 3 hourly. This will prevent Tetanus. IF PAINS SHOOT UP from the punctured wound, give HYPERICUM; this will prevent tetanus.
KIDNEY STONE (Renal Calculi)
Berberis vulgaris – Stitching, cutting pains from the left kidney following the course of ureter into the bladder and urethra. Small of back very sensitive to touch in renal region. Worse from jar. Give 30 or 200 potency twice a day for a few days; then taper off. The stone will pass out in urine.
RETENTION OF URINE (Agonising pain)
Solidago varga – Dysuria; difficult and scanty urine. Sometimes makes the use of the Catheter unnecessary. (Causticum : in cases of paralysis of Urinary bladder).
