KREOSOTUM
Children old looking, wrinkled. Painful dentition; teeth decay as soon as they appear. Spongy, bleeding gums. Vomiting of pregnancy with salivation. Haemorrhagic tendency; small wounds bleed freely (Crot.h., Lach, Phos.). Enuresis during first sleep (Sep.) from which child is roused with difficulty. Post climateric diseases of women (Lach).
Menstrual flow on lying down, ceases on sitting or walking about. Leucorrhoea acrid, corrosive offensive worse between periods, causesitching of vulva, so violent as to drive one almost wild. Haemorrhages, ulcerations, cancerous affections.
LAC CANINUM
Very forgetful, absent-minded; makes purchases and walks away without them. Cannot concentrate the mind to read or study. CHILD : Very cross and irritable; cries and screams all the time, esp. at night. Fears to be alone. Symptoms erratic, pains constantly fly from one part to another changing from side to side every few hours or days. Chronic “blue” condition; everything seems so dark that it can grow no darker.
Diphtheria and Tonsillitis; Symptoms change repeatedly from side to side. Sore throat and cough are apt to begin and end with menstruation. Swallowing “empty” painful, almost impossible; pains extend to the ear. Shining glazed appearance of diphtheritic deposits.
LACHESIS
Excessive loquacity, jealousy and suspicion. Great sensitiveness to touch or pressure. Left side is principally affected. Suffocates on dropping to sleep. Cannot stand the heat of Sun. Aggravation of symptoms after sleep. Intolerance of tight clothes about neck, chest or waist. Sad, distressed anxious in the morning on waking. Sleep unrefreshing.
Painful empty swallowing less pain from liquids, and solids least painful. Diphtheriabeginning on the left and extending to the right side.Haemorrhagic diathesis; small wounds bleed easily and profusely. Blood dark, non-coagulable. Bad effects of poisoned wounds; post-mortem (Pyrog). Menses regular, short, scanty; all pains relieved by the flow; always better during menses. A great remedy for complaints of menopause. Asthma worse exertion; better when sitting bent forward.
