I. Fast on fruit juice for five days in case of severe cough. Take a glass of fresh fruit juice, diluted with water on 50:50 basis, every two hours. Use warm-water enema daily during this period.<\/p>\n
II. An all-fruit diet for five days in case of mild cough, taking three meals a day of fresh juicy fruits, at five-hourly intervals.<\/p>\n
III. Thereafter, adopt a balanced diet, on the following lines:<\/p>\n

1. Upon arising:<\/span> 25 black raisins soaked overnight in water along with the water in which they are soaked and water kept overnight in a copper vessel.
\n2. Breakfast:<\/span> Fresh fruit, a glass of milk, sweetened with honey and some seeds or nuts.
\n3. Lunch:<\/span> Freshly-prepared steamed or lightly-cooked vegetables, whole wheat chappatis and a glass of buttermilk.
\n4. Mid-afternoon:<\/span> A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice.
\n5. Dinner:<\/span> Raw green vegetable salad and sprouts, with lime juice dressing, followed by a hot course, if desired.
\n6. Home Remedies:<\/span> Grapes, almonds, onion juice, turmeric, a sauce made from raisin and aniseed.<\/p>\n
