This is the chakra of the 3rd Eye of Lord Shiva or the Single Eye mentioned in Bible. This is located between the two eyebrows at slightly higher level. It helps to strengthen the left brain, (Hypothalamus and autonomic nervous system), Eye-sight and all the sense endings. It also activates the pituitary gland – the master gland which directs the total glandular activity in our body. It also represents clairvoyance – the power of the 3rd eye to foresee what may happen in the future. This chakra helps us to meet the Challenge of Stress, because this is the chakra of energy.
